HELIPICK Your girl friend has left her beach towel on top of the UN building, where she apparently had been sun bathing. Your job: go pick it up with your Blackhawk helicopter. Start from your local baseball diamond, head towards Manhattan and the UN building (which, curiously enough, now seems to be on the wrong side of the East River), pick up the towel, and start back. Take off again *right away* -- the security guards are on their way. It's her favorite towel, and you will earn her undying gratitude and who knows what else. You have a little leeway here: get fairly close to the towel and our magic SI magnet will bring you down with a "boing". When you take off again you'll see (in spot view) the beach towel fluttering out of your right hand window. Take a look at the whole proceeding or parts thereof from the top of the Empire State building -- CTRL-F4. CTRL-F3 will give you a following view, and of course you can use SPOT and BOMB TARGET views. Oh, on flying the Blackhawk: With either joystick or mouse, press button 1 and push forward to increase speed, pull back to decrease speed. With no button pushed, pull back to increase altitude, push forward to decrease altitude. Left and right turn as usual. I myself find the heli much easier to control with the mouse -- you can get some pretty fine-tuned movements, especially necessary to maintaining a heading. I didn't bother to include a film with this one: it's too easy and I couldn't show off my flying skills. If you haven't done this before: 1. Be sure HELIPICK.SET is in your /SETS subdirectory. 2. After entering Stunt Island, choose SET DESIGN and load HELIPICK.SET. 3. FLY STUNT, Action, TAKE . . . . 4. If you like what you saw, save out the take (HELIPICK.TKE etc.) with PRINT FILM or THAT'S A WRAP. 5. Just view the HELIPICK.TKE file in the theatre, or, if you're especially pleased with your flying prowess, EDIT it into a film. Jim Ross 70235,143
