DEAR FRIENDS:

     DANCES WITH BEARS took me about 4 weeks to complete.  It was a real learning experience.  STUNT ISLAND is truly an innovative and great program.
     I have always been fascinated with the TU-142 'BEAR' bomber.  It is basically a turboprop B-52!  The counter-rotating props on each engine must be engineering nightmares.  But after all these years the BEAR remains the Russians longest range heavy bomber.
     Music and words were digitized with a Sound Blaster Pro card at an 8 or 11khz sampling rate.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1)  If you just downloaded BEARS.ZIP and own STUNT ISLAND, just play the BEARS.FLM from the theater.  You may also wish to download the 'run-time' version (BEARSRT.ZIP) so that you will have the .ALL file to be able to hear the user sounds that I added to this film.  I highly recommend this.

2)  If you don't own Stunt Island you must first acquire the proper files to view the film.  One such file which is self-extracting is called SIVIEWER.EXE and is available from many info services and bulletin boards.  Once you have the files which will let you view the film, just run PLAYONE.EXE and then select the BEARS.FLM file.  You will of course need a Sound Blaster or compatible card to be able to hear the music and sounds whether you own STUNT ISLAND or not.
